About This Item

NY: Harper & Brothers, 1961. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 1st printing. Cloth. 432pp. Illus. Appendices. Notes. Index. Two large folding maps in back pocket: "Rocky Mountains Trappers Area 1823-1840" and "Extended Area of Trappers 1823-1840." Former owner's name / date on ffep. Fine copy in near fine dj. For some reason, most copies of this book has a worn, chipped dj. The dj on this copy is one of the best I've seen, with only minor wear on the edges. Tiny dj flap clips done by the publisher/binder.
