New York: M. Evans and Company, 1986. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. 8vo. 288 pp. Personalized inscription by Maxine Paetro on the front free endpaper. Quarter-bound in beige cloth on blue boards; lettered in blue on the spine; headband. Light wear on the corners of the dustjacket; price intact; small stain on the lower right of the front free endpaper; aside from the author's inscription, no other interior markings. She was the fashion editor at a trendy magazine. No longer content with chronicling the rise and fall of hemlines, she devised a plan to get her name off the fashion page and onto the cover. She proposed an article on what she called "man sharing" - her answer to the shortage of eligible men in Manhattan. Her boss agreed to the idea on one condition - that she write the story from her own experience....
