Aldine Bembo type, with Centaur initials, designed by Bruce Rogers, and Lyons capitals, designed by Louis Perrin, upon the model Latin inscriptions in 1846" (Colophon). "This is another book of daring exploration in our Sea Series. I tried to produce these stories of high adventure in an exciting way, and planned to make the book a symphony in green.
