Sampson Low, Marston, Low and Searle, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 39 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth with decorations. Black and white illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

London: Sampson Low, Son & Co, 1861. Full Leather. Very Good. E. V. B.. 12mo. 39 pages. Bound in full brown leather, coated yellow end papers. Neat owner inscription on FEP; internally clean.

George Berridge & Co.. Good. 1860. Hardcover. Illuminated borders designed by L. Summerbell. List of subscribers totals 88, so a very limited edition. No issue date, but published during Tennyson's lifetime. Binding is solid. Each thick, stiff page is printed on one side, with a floral border by Summerbell, and is protected by a thinner page. Protective pages are tanned, and illustrated pages somewhat tanned. A few smudges, but no foxing. Black leather cover embossed with gilt titles and floral design -- some wear to edges, but titles all fine, and designs only a little rubbed. .
