Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. This is copy number 802 of 950 copies of the limited edition printed by Eugene V. Connett at the Derrydale Press. Red cloth over boards with leather gilt stamped title and author labels on spine and front cover, 224 pages, eight black-and-white illustrations including frontispiece by W. Smithson Brodhead. Spine faded, covers lightly soiled, a previous owner label on front paste down, paper torn at hinge between end papers exposing webbing (binding not affected), offsetting from the owner label on to front free end paper, a faint musty odor.
