Near Fine in a Fair jacket, unclipped ($1.75 net on the spine), split at the front spine fold, generally toned and soiled, chipped at the edges. Green buckram, some fading on the front board, with a paper spine label on the spine. Square and firmly bound, Notice leaf written by Henry James laid-in. A posthumous collection of fifteen addresses, lectures, and essays from the philosophical pragmatist and founder of American psychology. This copy comes from the personal collection of Caldecott Medal-winning illustrator Maurice Sendak.
