8vo, flexible blue cloth with silver titles, 233pp. Unclipped dust jacket with list of titles from publisher's catalog. Cloth shows light fading to spine and boards, ownership signature to front endpaper. Small spot of sticker residue to spine of dust jacket. 'A collection of a dozen essays and addresses, including a group dealing with individual Mystics, among them the Walter Seton Memorial Lecture, 1932, on St. Francis of Assisi. Other papers discuss the nature of Mysticism and of Sanctity, the religious philosophy of Baron von Hugel, and the principles underlying both the social and devotional aspects of the Christian life.' A handsome copy in mylar.
