About This Item
London: John Tiranti & Company, 1927. Boards. Very Good. The 1927 1st edition of this wonderful collection of photographs of French shop-fronts and interiors. Shot in a lavish gravure, each of the 54 photographs feels deeply-influenced by Art Deco aesthetics. Solid and VG in its beige boards, with light bowing to the panels and wear along the spine ends (pronouncable at the foot of the spine, very minor along the crown). Former owner bookplate as well at the front free endpaper. All 54 plates (each eminently frameable) are in crisp, beautiful condition.
