A series of books about a healthy lifestyle of the Danish gymnast Joergen Peter Mueller (1866-1938) was very popular in pre-revolutionary Russia. In 1911 Müller came to Russia and acted in Moscow and St. Petersburg where showed as it is necessary to carry out exercises.
Naym Borov (1906-1942) was architect and interior designer, he headed one of architecture workshops in Moscow. There he collaborated with another artist Grigorii Zamskii (1903-1984) as well as for several other photomontage covers for this publishing house.
N. Borov was killed during WWII.
Boris Kal'pus (1895-1938) created his own system of hand-to-hand fight for Red Army. He was shot during Great Purge.
