About This Item
London: Gollancz, 1970. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Very Good. 8" by 5.5". None. Nice, first edition copy of this hard-to-find title. Another challenge for John Putnam Thatcher, the Sloan, when successful businessman Frank Hedstrom's gastronomic success, Chicken Tonight (a kind of dial-a-chicken service) goes under. In a cloth binding in the original dustwrapper. Externally in excellent condition. The binding is tight and firm with the pages and boards securely attached. There is very little wear to the extremities. Internally the pages are clean and bright. There is some minor wear to the dustwrapper. It has not been price-clipped. Fine
