London: Chatto & Windus, 1965. First edition. Hardcover. Very good +/Good. 8vo, 268pp. Pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. Some chipping and minor edge tears to dust jacket. Illustrated with photographs and with portrait frontis. Signed by Mackenzie on title page. This is the fourth volume of MacKenzie’s autobiography dealing with his intellectual and romantic development, he mixes with literary greats, travels, preaches and finally gets a commission in the Marines. First edition. I have other volumes of Mackenzie’s autobiography available, in matching bindings and generally in very good plus condition and signed.
