About This Item

St. Louis, MO: Blair Publishing Company, 1895. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo., 400pp. Solid First Edition. Bound in blue cloth with titles in gilt on front board and spine. Top edge gilt. Illustrations and photographs. Square and tight with just a touch of page edge toning. Top edge and spine gilt dulled.Wear to edges and tips. Some surface rubbing and soiling. Appears to be a deaccession from an institutional library with a faint spot where a call-number label was removed on the spine and remnants of tipped in library labels on the rear end-paper and paste-down. Not perfect but a presentable collectable copy of an uncommon title.
