About This Item

Boston: James Munroe and Company, 1849. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Very Good. Brown binding, pushed and rubbed at the corners, frayed and with some loss at the spine, a tear at the rear gutter. Square and firmly bound with eight pages of ads in the rear, old bookeller's catalog entry tipped onto one of the front endpapers along with a 19th century ownership signature, clean otherwise.
