The type is monotype Spectrum printed on Barcham Green Charter Oak. The boards are covered in Irish linen and Barcham Green Renaissance III. The titling is from the original manuscript written in Thoreau's hand. Elizabeth Hall Witherell, Editor-in-Chief of the Thoreau Edition assisted in the publication. Fine in Fine fold-around hand-made paper slipcase. OCLC locates 58 of the a50 copies in institutions. An early production from Ninja Press, which Carolee Campbell founded in 1984. " One of the primary goals set at the inception of the press was to strive toward the highest standards of excellence in craftsmanship and quality while attempting to find new approaches to the union between word, image, and book structure."
