Paris, France: Librairie Hachette et Cie, 1874. Ninth Edition . Half Leather. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Half leather binding of deep red morocco to spine and corners with four raised bands to spine and gilt bordered compartments. Marbled boards, endpapers and page edges. 236 pp. Lots of engraved figures in the text. Contents clean without bookplates, inscriptions, foxing or other markings. Possibly missing a tissue-guard to title page. Cracking to gutterin, and back free endpaper coming loose but still a tightly bound copy. Light wear to binding particularly raised bands and edges but an attractive copy nevertheless. Text in French. Ninth edition. No date but presumed 1874. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
