Small 8vo, printer's red cloth and decorated boards, in the original glassine wrapper. 23pp. A very fine copy of this signed limited edition. FIRST AND LIMITED EDITION, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. A short and humble consideration of publishers by one of their number, sent out as a Holiday Greeting by Mr. Jovanovich. Jovanovich was a reclusive, fiercely independent figure who worked his way up from textbook salesman to company president in seven years, Mr. Jovanovich defied industry conventions. He shunned the press and declined to join the American Publishers' Association, the industry's trade group.
