About This Item
Oak Park: Library Book Club, 1984. Paperback. 16mo. Stiff tan wrappers. viii, 98pp. Numerous illustrations. Very good. Probable sole printing of this nifty little history of downtown Oak Park -- famed as Ernest Hemingway's hometown, which he dubbed the city of "broad lawns and narrow minds" -- inscribed and signed boldly by the author in black fineline on the title page: "For Julie / Lee Brooke." Tight and nice.
