New York: World Publishing, 1970. Hardcover. Very Good +/Very Good,. A neat, very sound copy of the first printing. Bound in tangerine cloth with metallic lettering to spine. Small light marks to free front endpaper, dust jacket has a few chips, scuffs, a small closed tears and the usual laminate bubbling. The text was assembled after Lowry's death by his widow, Margerie Lowry, in accordance with his marginal notes and instructions. 'October Ferry' is a love story, an account of a marriage as it is evoked by the speeding images from the window of a bus.
