Chapter1 starts with an introduction of Site Server and enumerates its components. It then begins discussing a first, and a core component of Site Server; Commerce Server. Some are visual. A tour of a sample Commerce Server store follows. The remainder of chapter one covers management and build concept of Commerce Server. Chapter two discusses Commerce Server's Stores. Chapter 3 introduces the programming concepts of Site Server Active Server pages including scripting, built-in objects and components. Chapter three requires understanding of a programming language, VB Scripting is used for examples and tutorial. Having understood the basic concepts of Server Active Server pages chapter 4 introduces the Visual Interdev Development environment and provides some standard store customization examples.
