About This Item
Toronto: Collins White Circle, 1949. Soft cover. Good. This is a shabby copy of an interesting book. The interior is clean and complete, with darkened pages. The illustrated paper covers show wear and Synopsis: "Donald Ross was a bush pilot out of a job. If he had not been pretty hard up he would not have agreed to fly the Lockwood expedition to Greenland. At best it was a crazy scheme, and to complicate it there was Alix. Maybe she was Lockwood's daugher, but the trip was going to be tough enough without having a girl tagging along -- and a spoiled girl at that." This is an outdoor adventure novel with a dash of time-travel. Don finds himself transported back to Norse time as Haki, a young Viking warrior.
