Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1874. The Fourth Part of Parkman's monumental work on the history of the French and English in North America. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Pebbled green cloth binding, ruled on the covers, with the gilt figure of a Native American warrior on the front cover; gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; xvi, map, 448 pages; Appendix and Index. Bright and clear. Mildly bumped, with rubbing to head and foot of the spine. A sound copy, and rather uncommon. The half-title page is present but partially detached; otherwise this would have a higher grade.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
