This is a true first edition, first printing (first impression) of the so called Illustrated edition with 'New Edition' to the title page and all sixteen Illustrations by Fred T. Jane present. In very good condition the original pictorial green cloth with wear to the spine and extremities, title in black, gilt to the spine, the text unmarked small owner's stamp to half title page. The first issue published in 1895 with the Lane Illustrations is very uncommon also present as called for is the Errata slip. The author's futuristic classic sequel to ANGEL OF THE REVOLUTION..
