About This Item
London, England: Corgi Books, 1974. A pilot's story of World War 1. Light edgewear, reading crease at spine. It was 1918, and in the night skies above wartime France the men of 'A' Squadron were engaged on raids in the outdated death-traps known as F.E.2b bombers. The 'Old Pushers' were flimsily constructed of struts, wires, wooden booms and inflammable canvas- relics built in the first year of the War, and no match for the Albatrosses or Fokker triplanes of the Germans. This is a pilot's story of World War 1. Book appears to be rare.... Mass Market Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. Military/War.
