Charles Scribner's Sons, 1911. First edition. Hardcover. Good. First edition, good brownish cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter to cover and spine shows creasing along spine, soil and small stains to covers, bit of dulling to gilt at spine, open chipping and tear at spine head, wear at spine edges, toning along spine and perimeter of covers, ich long closed tear at front pastedown near hine, couple of light internal splits, moisture stain at bottom of hinge causing waviness to pages as well, along with some other mild wear. 261 pages with top page edges gilt. Still a solid first edition copy of this late novel from the legendary author.
