Salt Lake City, UT: Utah State Historical Society, 1951. First paperback edition. Paperback. 265pp. Octavo [23 cm] Light orange and black printed wraps. Very good. The extremities are lightly rubbed, creased and soiled. There are a couple of faint erased pencil notations, along with a couple of small barely perceptible stains, on the front wrap. There are portions of an old price sticker on the rear wrap. The spine is just a little rolled back. Minor soiling and staining on the edges of the text block. The text block is fragile in a few places. Illustrated. With two maps in the rear pocket. Including the Diary and Itinerary of Father Escalante Translated and Annotated.
