Very Good: shows only little discernible wear, but the backstrip and the portion of the rear panel near the hinge have been rather heavily sunned and the top edge of the rear panel has blanched a bit as well (the gilt titles at the backstrip are still bold and bright, but the blanching to the backstrip has lessened their brightness somewhat. The front panel and its titles are unaffected: bold and clearly legible). The binding leans slightly, but remains perfectly secure; the pages have tanned slightly, due to aging; former owner's name at the top of the front free endpaper. A structurally sound and tightly bound copy: clean, sturdy, presentable, despite the sunning. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Large 4to. (11.1 x 7.7 x 0.65 inches). 206 pages. Translated by Henry Grafton Chapman. Language: Italian and English. Weight: 21.5 ounces. Ed. 614. Green cloth over boards with gilt titles at the front panel and backstrip. Decorated Endpapers.
