About This Item
Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1969. Hardcover. Reprint of the 1936 first issue; xxxvi, 452p., illustrated with b&w photos, diagrams, a large folded map bound in at back, even a few lines of musical notation. Hardbound in OUP's signature waxed black cloth boards gilt and enclosed in the dust jacket. Dust jacket is also good although of a rather dull design. Excellent condition; we see two flaws only, a pronounced reader's crease to spine panel and flecks of foxing to textblock edges. No markings of any other kind. Malinowski was an inspiration and material help.
