Deluxe limited edition of Partnerschaft in Freiheit, Partnership in Liberty, from The Thornwillow Press, signed by German Chancellor Helmut Kohl.. Tall octavo, 39pp, [9pp]. Full red Moroccan goatskin, title in gilt on front cover. Housed in the publisher's black cloth clamshell, lined with cloth. From a limited edition of 500 copies in full goatskin, this being number 377, signed by Helmut Kohl on the half-title and Luke Ives Pontifell on the limitation page. A beautiful example. Partnerschaft in Freiheit, Partnership in Liberty is German Chancellor Helmut Kohl's commencement address at Harvard University, delivered in June 1990. The commencement address took place only a few months before the official reunification of East and West Germany. Text in both German and English.
