Bloomfield Hills, MI: The Cranbrook Foundation, n.d.. First Edition. Wraps. Very Good. A promotional piece for prospective students, highlighting the benefits of the Cranbrook educational experience. Heavily illustrated with photographs of the community, or particular note is the work by Eliel Saarinen (1873-1950) who designed many of the buildings and interiors and was affiliated with Cranbrook from 1925 until his death in 1950 and also served as president. Cranbrook produced both notable faculty and alumni including Harry Bertoia, Richard DeVore, Charles Eames, Ray Eames, Waylande Gregory, Florence Knoll, Daniel Libeskind, and Eero Saarinen. 47, [1] pp. 4to. Brown paper wraps with soiling from age, chipping at edges. Title page has staining at edges as does the rear first free endpaper, clean within.
