New York: A.L. Burt, n.d. [ca. 1934]. Later edition. Nearly fine in a very good dust jacket. This novel was the basis for the 1934 John Ford directed film, The Lost Patrol. This copy has been presented on the front free endpaper to a Los Angeles newspaper columnist by RKO Studios and is signed below by a dozen of the picture’s stars, including Victor McLaglen, Boris Karloff, Wallace Ford, Reginald Denny and Alan Hale. An earlier, silent version, was released in 1929.
