Cloth very good (letters faded, tiny break in cloth spine, small spot to lower margin of initial six leaves including title page); dj fair (spine soiled, edges chipped, tears, and split fold). Illustrated "novel" with 72 images and brief text by Lowell Naeve who was imprisoned twice and served a total of over four years in nine prisons, depicting the inner life of a prisoner put in prison for his idealism. Book is Very Good, pages are clean and unmarked. Light creasing and discoloration to spine. Mild soiling and light age-toning to wraps. Overall solid copy. Lowell spent time in prison during World War II due to his anti-war ideals. This inmate's novel consists almost enturely of line drawings, with a few choice words along the way.
