About This Item
USA: Alan Swallow, 1958. Book. Illus. by Naeve, Lowell. Fair. Hardcover. First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 73 pages. "Author/artist opposed US entry into WWII and was improsoned twice, serving four and a half years in a total of nine prisons." - from dust jacket. As title suggests, this 'novel' is composed almost entirely of his artwork. Somewhat above-average wear to book. Binding intact. Unmarked. Dust jacket heavily worn and yellowed but now preserved in glossy new archival-grade Brodart cover. Still a worthy copy of this fascinating work..
