Philadelphia: John Wanamaker, 1917. Book. Illus. by N/A. Good-. Stapled. No Edition Stated. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 48 pp., numerous old pitures of the city, two dates (1950 & 1920) in the back pertain to projected populations in respect to Philadelphia and Pennsylvania respectively, a three inch ink stain in the lower fore edge quadrant of the front cover, and the cover soiled and worn a little at the margins, a name and number partiallly erased at the top portion of the front cover, piece of the upper fore edge corner missing on the back cover and just a corner of that was attached inside the back cover remains, some discoloration at the bottom of some of the pages and a little foxing on a few pages - spine grey and showing staples and some wear - antiquarian.

We opened our shop in August 1992 in an out-of-the-way, two-block street, hence the name. Shortly afterward we started getting books that were hard to find, so the name fits there, too. We recently closed the shop and are focusing on our online book business, continuing to provide the same customer care. Our specialties include Engineering and Technical, Christian and other religions, Foreign Language, Military History, and music. We also have classics, biographies, history, politics, and science, sports, law, etc. Please call for any information needed. We are in the Central time zone.
