About the author

Lynne Rickards was born in Canada but settled in Scotland. Lynne began writing for children when her own kids were learning to read. As well as being a picture book, Pink! is also a musical. Pink! the Musical, written in collaboration with Hopscotch Theatre, has toured to over 200 Scottish primary schools. Margaret Chamberlain produced her first children's picture book illustrations while still at the Royal College of Art. She has produced illustrations for many more children's books including The Man Whose Mother was a Pirate.
