With 73 plates and illustrations. ¶ The trade edition of Iréne Bernard's thesis, prepared under C. Claqué in the tradition of the Bordeau Medical Faculty. The work is both revolutionary and innovative (given the date of publication). The first 70 pages being the first part of this work dealing with esthetical conception of the mamma through the history as well as judiciary aspects regarding mamma reconstruction. The remaining 3 parts deal with the physio-anatomico and surgical aspects.
