Page size: 7 x 9 inches; 981pp. and 604pp. Handsomely bound by the publisher in cloth over boards stamted with a design by the master binder, Paul Bonet, ivory stamped with silver gilt, burgundy and salmon, spine smooth, author and title in gilt, 1/2 burgundy morocco and marbled paper chemise, both volumes near fine.
