Synopsis: This is the story of Cecco's adventures in the world of the early 1920s. "Cecco was a wooden dog, the cleverest of all the toys, and he took Bulka the rag puppy for company. They enjoyed everything -- the blind man and his dog, the voyage down the river and, best of all, the meeting with the resourceful Jensina. She had inadvertently carried off the ancestral treasure of the rats. The rats, hovering in the background, determined to retrieve their treasure, were too much for Bulka who got homesick. So home they went, to one last adventure and a glorious wedding".
