The Viking Press, 1946. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 756 pages. Edited and with an introduction by Gilbert Seldes. 18mo (4-1/4" x 6-3/4"), yellow cloth with green lettering, faded green stain to edges, light shelf wear, boards soiled, back hinge cracked but all pages attached. Underscoring and marginalia in ink by previous owner, Prof. Warner Berthoff, (and some possibly by an earlier owner) on approximately 75 of the pages; many of the stories are clean and unmarked.

Shipping charge may be reduced on some books weighing less than 1 lb to U.S. addresses. International Priority shipping charges may be reduced on books that fit in a USPS small flat-rate box. International Standard (First-Class Package International) shipping charges may be reduced for a second or more books if the total package weight does not exceed 2 lb.
