No dust jacket as issued .flexible leatherette boards second edition 1928 extensively illustrated with photo plates (sample shown) and with diagrams of switch stands, switches, frogs, crossings, slip switches. That shadow on blank page facing title page is a scanner effect. The page is FINE as is the binding.
