Original unbleached linen-backed marbled boards, printed label to spine; pp. 53, title-page printed in red, turquoise and black; sixteen tipped-in photographs, and with the eight-page facsimile booklet Notes made by William McCance after visiting bookbinding firms for T.E.Lawrence in 1926 and an accompanying reproduction cheque signed J. H. Ross housed in rear pocket; a fine copy, as new. First edition, limited to 240 copies. McCance was a Scottish artist, friend of TEL and Eric Kennington.
