Port Townsend, WA: Jefferson County Historical Society, 1966. First Edition Stated . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good +. Blue cloth binding, titles in black, map endpapers, illustrated with 70 photographs, more than 100 biographical sketches of pioneers, 422 pages plus several pages of contributors with a brief bio sketch of each, bibliography, index. There are stories about timber and logging in the early days, sailing vessels, Indian battles, pioneers coming around the Horn, and across the plains by wagon train. Book is like new, very nice, clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has one small chip bottom edge front panel otherwise fine, dj presents nicely in a new mylar sleeve.
