New York: Reynal & Hitchcock, 1938. Red cloth, gilt titles on spine, blind stamped impression on front. 500pp. Cloth worn on spine with fraying to spine ends, also worn on lower tips of boards. Ffep has gift inscription and date. Previously belonged to small private library; front and back pastedowns have a stamp and number in blue ink, Ffep has remnants of sticker to top edge. Gutter crack between half-title and title page with weakened hinge. Text block edges foxed with a few spots to endpapers. Occasional foxing and mark throughout. Historical Fiction set in New Zealand during the early 1900s. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
