The Public General Acts Passed in the Fifty-Sixth and Fifty-Seventh Years of the Reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria Being the Second Session of the Twenty-Fifth Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, 1893-94. Hardback, 1894, printed for Her Majesty's Stationery Office by the Queen's Printer, xvi + 508 pages. Octavo/8vo, measures around 10 1/8" by 6 1/2" by 1 1/8". Red cloth binding, gilt lettering to spine. Marking and scuffing to binding, discolouration to spine. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, slight tearing to head and tail of spine, bumped corners. Some slackness to binding, cracking to rear inner hinge and some cracks elsewhere in textblock but book contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and marked. Upper page edges mostly opened, though a few are not, while those cut are mainly neat but a little jagged in places. Previous owner stamp to front free endpaper and title page. Foxing to some page surfaces and some pencil marking in margins. See pictures for further information.
