Number 37 of a limited edition of 1000 copies SIGNED by artist on limitation page. 197, [1] pages; 22 tipped-in colour plates with captioned and illustrated tissue guards, line drawings in-text. Printed by T. and A. Constable, Printers to his Majesty at the Edinburgh University Press. This comedic stage play in four acts has been made into two films and a musical. Lacks the tie and some expected light page toning as usual, else a clean, bright copy inside and out of one of the earliest copies printed (37/1000). Signed. First Edition. Vellum. Near Fine. Illus. by Hugh Thomson. Quarto.
