About This Item
NY: Benziger Brothers. Very Good with no Dust Jacket. 1917. Hardcover. Second book in the Mary Selwyn series which became so popular that two other, smaller books were later written to explain what led Mary to where she began. "Uncle Frank's Mary" (the first book in the series) is also available. Light soil on boards, top edge "dusty". There is a very faint stain along top edge of a few pages in some signatures, but not all, leading me to believe the stain occurred prior to binding. However, there is a stain on rear board that permeates onto rear endpapers...or vice-versa. Fade spots on spine. Nevertheless, a very good clean tight binding which matches binding of the first book in the series, "Uncle Frank's Mary". ; Mary Selwyn Series; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 245 pages; 26788 .
