The Story Is Of Rasmus, A Nine Year Old Runaway Orphan Who Meets Paradise Oscar, "The Most Remarkable Tramp Anyone Is Ever Likely To Meet." Copyright Was 1960, Translation By Gerry Bothmer, And Illustrations By Eric Palmquist. I Note That The Uk Translation Was Rasmus And The Tramp. This Edition Was Published By Arrangement With Viking, Therefore Presuming This Would Be First Paperback Edition In English. Very Light Toning, Yellow Edgetint, May Even Be Unread, Although There Is A 1/4 Inch Split At Spine Bottom, And A Smaller One On The Other Side Of The Lower Spine. There Are Also Some Scratches And A Crease To The Front Cover, The Latter Ending In A Closed Tear At The Edge. This Is Still A Very Solid And Square Book, In Good Condition For Its Age.
