New York: Donnell Memorial Library, 1991. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Eichenberg, Fritz. Fritz Eichenberg (1901-1990) was a woodcut artist and educator and this volume was created in his memory. Published in an edition of 250 copies and although usually numbered, this copy is penciled "A.E." at the colophon. Printed at the Press of the Sea Turtle in Easthampton, MA, by Harold McGrath. A beautiful remembrance of an exceptional man. 31 pp. 4to. Gray paper boards with black ribbon binding in the Japanese style with Fritz Eichenberg initials blind embossed on cover. Slight sunning to edge of spine where exposed in the matching slipcase that is in Fine condition. Eichenberg's self portrait serves as the frontispiece.
