Maroon cloth binding with bright silver titling, slight fading on the spine, remains of label at the base of the spine, the hinges are secure. The text is complete, intermittent foxing to the pages, foxing to the title page, neat Belfast library bookplate on the endpaper, low visibilty blindstamp at the top of the title and to the top of 3 other pages, 1895 signature on the endpaper. 6 sheets of woodcut plates. Pages; (2), XIX, (1), 353, (1) + 24 page publisher catalogue.
