Two volumes bound in one, 8vo, x, 313, (5); vii, (i), 259, (5) pp. Leaf containing a hand-written quote from John Locke's "Essay Concerning Human Understanding" bound in after the title of the first volume, inscription to front blank in the same hand, light foxing to early leaves. Contemporary calf, gilt banded spine, maroon label, some light rubbing and scuffing.
