Uncommon with its original dust jacket. There are illustrations throughout, some of which are full-page. From the Preface: "Safe Counsel was originally published in the year 1893 as the first sincere attempt to explain the essential facts of sex life in their relationship to human happiness. In those days of ridiculous false modesty it was a pioneer in the true meaning of the word. Old fashioned theories have been replaced by modern scientific facts. An honest effort has been made to deal with the most delicate situations clearly yet cleanly, without cant or hypocrisy, yet without evasion."
Condition:
Clean covers and spine; there is a small tear/piece missing at the top-left corner of the spine; sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean and appear unread with no issues found. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition. The dust jacket has small tears/pieces missing at the flap and spine corners; the spine and covers are tanned; the front cover has a stain at the top and left edge...overall the jacket is in Good+ condition.
